MLT update guide for older units (Firmware <1140)

Step 1:

Install Docklight

https://docklight.de/download/Docklight.zip

Step 2:

Download the following files from Microsoft teams, Service and Tech Support.

“MLT older units”

Step 3: 

 Once downloaded, extract the .zip file to your desktop 

Step 4:

Install the windows driver for the Pi to connect to your computer.

First connect the Pi to your computer as seen below.

After connecting the device, the 5V LED will illuminate, you can now proceed to open device manager and right click on the COM port which isn’t recognized and ‘update driver’.

 Browse my computer for drivers’ 

Then navigate to the folder you extracted on your computer and select the ‘windows driver’ folder.

After selecting the folder, you will see the below screen to let you know that its completed.

Step 5: 

Docklight and select the correct com port which is plugged into the Pi.

Step 6:

Select the keyboard to open a console in Docklight.

Connect the Ribbon cable of the Pi into this port of the PS10 and the USB cable into your laptop.

Enter the following lines into the Docklight console, you will need to press enter after typing out each line, a screenshot is provided below of what it will look like.

-p p 5555

-p a 3

-boot usb

Step 7:

After you have enabled the PS10 to boot from USB, you can disconnect the ribbon cable and plug in the USB B cable to the PS10.

With the USB cable connected straight to the PS10, you can now open the folder which was extracted onto your desktop and run the ‘program2807x.bat’ file.

You will see the following screen open in command prompt to let you know that it was successful.
