This article looks at how to update firmware on Synapse batteries using BatteryView software
Before the update begins, please ensure that:
1. The battery has enough charge to power up
2. Communication cable with correct pinouts
3. Computer/PC with BatteryView software
Updating:
1. Switch on the battery in sequence shown below
2. Connect the USB end of communication cable to PC and RJ45 end of cable to Console port of the battery
3. Open BatteryView application/software on your computer/PC
4. Connect to the battery. Click on Connect then OK. Once the software
5. Click on Options then Update 
6. Click for Browse and select .bin file saved on your computer/PV then click on Program.
Allow the program to begin conclude.
