How to add a SGS device to Rubicon’s monitoring platform & connect your device to a local network

Step 1: Link to website

Step 2: After clicking on the link, select sign up

Step 3: Log in to account

Step 4: Add new site

Step 5: Site details

Step 6: Device details

Step 7: Link users if needed

When done with this process and your device is on the local network at your residence (refer to the bottom of the document on how to connect your device to the local network), it should look like the following:

Step 8: Click on devices

Step 9: Set up your settings according to your site

Step 10: Click on settings

From here you can set up your settings according to your site specifications:

Notes:
- If your boost setpoint is lower than the current degrees on the device measured by the probe in your geyser, it will not boost.
- If your boost setpoint is lower than your grid setpoint it will not boost.

Step 11: Go to the Wi-Fi option on your smart device as shown below, and connect to your device’s ID

Step 12: The password would be 123456789

Step 13: Choose to connect only this time, you will be connecting to the device’s hotspot

After these steps, you should be connected as shown below:

Step 14: Go to your local web browser, type in 192.168.4.1, and search.

Step 15: Enter username and password
- Username - Factory
- Password - 123456789

After doing the above steps, your web browser should look like the following:

Step 16: Click on the three bars to set up device on local network

Step 17: Click on the network connection

Step 18: Scan for your network connection

Step 19: After choosing the desired network connection, enter your network connection password and you should all be set up to load your device on My Monitor
